NEW WORLD DISTILLERY RELEASES OGDEN NINE RAILS BOURBON WHISKEY

EDEN, UT, December 14 2019 — New World Distillery announces the release of their first small-batch Bourbon Whiskey: available only at the distillery in Eden. It will be at least five months before New World will have another batch ready to harvest.

Ogden Nine Rails Bourbon Whiskey is an elite and boldly complex Bourbon Whiskey crafted in a rare and unique fashion: fermented and distilled on the grain in Eden. The result is a balanced spirit worthy of representing The Junction City with the notorious history and reputation for inde- pendence. Free from sourced, big booze.

Distiller Chris Cross warns that most bourbons are pretty much cookie cutter: fermented fast, double distilled and double diluted. “Even the grain bills lack much diversity and creativity. This is where craft makers have an advantage. We ferment much differently than beer makers and most whiskey makers. Time is your friend when developing bigger, more complex flavor pro- files. And we ferment our Nine Rails Bourbon on the grain which is game changing when it comes to flavor potential. Next we actually single distill on the grain, and the presence of the organics in this step is quite rare, but results in huge flavor transfer to the alcohol.”

New World Distillery boasts technology in their operation that allows them to break the barriers of big booze, and create unique, bold, and just plain better spirits.

The artwork pays homage to the history of Ogden as a long time hub of commerce and the city through which all rail lines passed when heading west.

It is the only whiskey fermented and distilled in Weber County and the furthest north in the state. Visit the pristine Ogden Valley for this and all of New World Distillery's award-winning products.
